I'm super excited about this years possibilities! Got all my "ducks in a row" so to speak: got everyone separated into their "breeding groups", got the incubator warmed up, and am just waiting for them to start laying!

I've got:

Pen 1: Trout / blue trout/ saxony runners
Pen 2: Grey / blue fawn runners
Pen 3: blue runners
Pen 4: white runners

Also have 3 pens set up with some "experimental" crosses..... a project I'm working on, as well as pekins, saxonies, snowy mallards, and Harlequins.

Yes, I have my hands full!

What's everyone hatching this year?

I'm (hopefully) going to hatch...
- Black/Blue Swedes
- Light Chocolate/Lilac/Lavender Swedes
- Swede/Rouen Claire Meat crosses (from two ducks that got left out of all the breedinng plans)

What's the project you're working on? Spare no boring detail!

My project is Harlequin (or snowy / silver, whaterver you might want to call them) runner.

Right now, we are eating the eggs, but I will be hatching Silver Appleyards and Blue Swedish.

I am hoping that the Pomeranian goose will hatch her own clutch of Pomeranian goslings. She's not laying yet.

I've decided to sell the Pekins, so won't be hatching any of those.
