What breed? 2 hens, 1 roo

Can someone please help identify my chickens? I adopted them after my son's kindergarten class hatched them. I have since discovered one is a rooster. Hopefully a quiet and non-aggressive breed : )

Thanks for any help you can provide! Will be getting a few more chickens as my son's favorite is the roo and we are not allowed to keep them in San Jose, Ca. Hopefully KC will bond with another chick and I want to find a good match for the existing birds.

The rooster is a NHR and the 2 hens are RIRs.

Looks like 2 rhode island red or production reds - you're correct, two pullets & 1 cockerel.

I agree pullets are Production Red but the boy is probably RIR over Black Sex Link.No way him being New Hampshire.

Pullets are RIR ( Rhode Island red ) , cockerel is NHR or RIR

The girls are RIR, but the roo isn't. He looks a little like a partridge rock. Maybe when he feathers in completely you'll know for sure.
