White ears, so I'm thinking Leghorn or Leghorn cross. Comb is small enough for hen/pullet. Is that dirt on the shoulders or red feathers? Are there any pointed hackle or saddle feathers? I can't really tell for sure, but it looks like there are--if so rooster.

it looks like a rooster to me, and it may be a white leghorn cross with a rhode island red, if so the gold on the wing tops/sholders will become a much more promenant feature.

It all depends on the individual. I've got two Easter Eggers that are crowing and they're 9-weeks.

Its Confirmative its a ROO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was out watching my chicken and I decided to play a rooster crowing on youtube and in about 5 min of the video playing He crows!!!!!!!!!!!
