I just got my first flock of chickens...16 with four more on the way. I’m hoping for some help identifying the breed and possibly the sex. I won’t bombard you with all 16 but here are a few pictures I was able to snap. Thanks in advance.

Both of the chickens in the first photo are cockerels. The black and white chick has a mighty red comb.....I’m leaning towards cockerel. The last 3 are pullets.
Cute flock! ❤️

Is the silver chick in the first photo the same chick that's in the third photo? (BTW, I think that silver one is REALLY pretty!)

Breed: I'm not recognizing any particular breed, except possibly Easter Egger. Where did you get them? (Knowing the source sometimes helps figure out the breed.)

Gender: my guesses are that the brown & black colored chick in the first photo is a cockerel, the one in the second photo is a cockerel, the third and fourth photos are pullets, and I'm unsure about the fifth photo. (I'm not guessing separately about the silver chick in the first photo, because it looks to me like the same chick that's in the third photo.)

Yes, the silver in the first photo is the same as the third photo. My dad picked them up for me because we live so far away from anything. I text the lady I purchased them from and she gave me the list of breeds...I’m just having a hard time matching them up. The breeds we are suppose to have are Barred rocks, silver laced Wyandottes (I think that is the 3rd picture), RIR, splash Cochin, cinnamon queen, Easter riggers, leghorn, and jersey giant.

This one looks a lot like 2 of mine. They were labeled as “Sapphire Gems” where I bought them but if you read about the breed it’s basically a hybrid for sex linking genes and they aren’t “officially recognized” as a breed

Cochin is the only breed on the list that would have feathered feet, so the second chick is a cochin.

If any other chicks have feathered feet, then they are also cochins.

The silver one doesn't really look laced, and Wyandottes are supposed to have yellow legs, so I think that one is an Easter Egger.

Easter Eggers can come in many different colors and patterns, so if you match up as many chicks as possible to their breeds, then any remaining are probably Easter Eggers.

Do you know how many you're supposed to have of each breed?
Was there a color given for Leghorn or Jersey Giant? (Both of those breeds can come in several colors.)

She didn’t say how many of each or what color for the leghorn. The jersey giant is black...it was easy to match her up due to her size. Thank you so much for your help. Hopefully I don’t end up with a bunch of roosters.
