What breed are my chicks?

The light feathered one is 2 months and the dark feathers is likely 2 1/2 months. Was never told what their breed or gender is but was told the dark feathered one is a pricey chicken. Have them indoors for a bit because of bad weather.

Agreed on gender. Where did you get them? They look like mixed breeds. The cockerel could be a Bielefelder. Doesn't look quite right though.

My father brought them home from a friend, so I'm not too sure they never said They told me the chick wont be a mean one and will be pretty well going chicken. They probably are mixed breed then

While I see that as well, yellow legs are a recessive trait. So if it was a first generation mix they should theoretically have pink legs. I thought the same thing at first for the pullet

Possbily TSC /Hoovers new breed Dixe rainbows they have been selling them in my feed store and mine look exactly like her except I have more color varites espically cause I have more.

Dixie Rainbows are dominant red barred. The pullet is not :/ Since they weren't purchased from TSC I am highly doubtful

Oh ok. I jsut realized that they are not Dixie rainbows after I saw the feather feet. Thanks for correcting me!

I completely thought about that as well for the cockerel! My first thoughts were Golden Cuckoo Marans and Dixie Rainbow, but then I saw a couple issues
