Hello! I just recently hatched some chicken eggs and I can’t tell what breed some of them are. One of the chicks is a very light yellow with white wings, and seems pretty large compared to the others even though they all hatched on the same day (possibly an Orpington?). The other chick that I am confused about is black and has a small white spot below her chin and another on stomach (she has black feet and a black comb). I’m not sure if it helps, but the white one came out of a light brown egg and the black one came out of a greenish-blue egg. Please let me know if you know what type of chicks these are! Thanks!

Pictures? It is most likely too early to tell but some breeds are very distinct at hatch

I agree. It’s probably too early to tell for sure but pictures would help.

Here are some pictures! They are about 12 days old.

It might be a little early to tell yet. At a young age it can be really hard to tell, a lot of chickens have close patterns at that age. Try posting this again when they are at least pullets I would like to help you out!

I've had a Buff Orpington, and she looked Exactly like the yellow one. So I would say you do have a Orpington
You had a Buff Orpington that had yellow shanks and feathered out white
