What breed are these babies? (Ducks)

Aw, I'm sorry. :(
Thank you. It’s clear they did not survive to pip and hatch. I don't know why when they seemed fine until the very end. I know that hatch rates on shipped eggs are poor, hence i ordered 3 times what i thought I’d need to get a decent sex ratio, or more to the point- at least a couple of females of each breed with plans to slaughter or rehome the males. So i will take my 33% hatch rates and learn a lesson. I guess that lesson is that i am not meant to mess with hatching duck eggs. Probably not even hatching eggs at all.
If anyone has tips on how to help ensure survival rate of shipped eggs, i am open. But for now, i will probably look for blue Swedish ducklings at a hatchery that is either local or ships day olds.
You say you see a shadow. That is how some describe seeing an internal pip. Usually you can see the ducklings move at that stage. Dark room with cell phone flash light shined through the air cell is how I candle eggs.
Maybe a shadow but no movement and the shadow changes when i rotate the egg, as is from other angles i cannot see it. I will find out mom information when i open them up after work sunday night or Monday morning.

so, I've decided those leftover eggs will not hatch. given when the others pipped and the last hatched out plus the smell the incubator has taken on, I am torn. as a scientist I want to learn, as a poultry keeper I'm devastated. I will focus on the living babies and prob ask for help sexing them in a few months lol.

I would tap open the shell over the air sac. You'll be able to wet the membrane, and see with a flashlight if they are alive and need more time, or if they are dead (plus the smell.)

I would do this before tossing them all.

As far as the eggs, I have had some abysmal fails with some half blue swedish. Probably 9 failures, maybe more. Typically died either around day 14, 21, or even as late as day 25.

Come to find out that my neighbor didn't know what brooder feed was. Her yard is also stripped bare from her poultry so while they have free reign, there's not that much to diversify their diet from their layer feed.

They laid just fine. But not having the brooder feed seems to (from my reading) contribute to late deaths like this.

I am still trying a few eggs (she has since ordered some brooder nutrients but I haven't gotten any eggs from her in the past two weeks) but I fully expect them to die as well. Hope springs eternal though.

I poked safety holes before i left for work this past weekend. No movement or chirping at that time and today, nothing. So i got rid of the eggs. They were stinky. Maybe they just dont do well in an incubator. But next time i will look for ducklings. I’ll wait and see how many females i end up with out of the 7 that hatched and decide from there.
