What breed are these chicks?

My beautiful bantam Black Cochin hen hatched 5 beautiful chicks for me on the 4th of July. I know it is early to tell for sure what breed or gender they are, but I just thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone can tell. Eggs could have been from any of my three bantam hens. I have a Light Brahma, a Dark Brahma, and a Black Cochin. These are the mama options: (Ignore old barney there. You'll see him in a minute.)



This is daddy. We have no idea what he is. Someone once guessed Mottled Cochin, but I don't know. He has iridescent green feathers on his saddle.


These are the products of some very beautiful chickens. What breed do you think we have here? And if you have any comments on gender feel free to share!

the roo is a light brahma so any chicks from him and that light brahma hen will be pure light brahmas. the other hen is a dark brahma so with her you will have pure brahma chicks but mixed color. the black is a cochin and most if not all of her babies will be solid black and the comb will be single or a bit off looking from the pea and single comb mix.

1 cochin mix
2 light brahma
3 light brahma
4 light/dark brahma mix
5 cochin mix (iffy on this one)

i cant really see the comb on 4 to be sure but the pattern that is present says its a dark/light brahma color mix

Are you sure he is a light brahma? I have never see a light brahma with green and yellow feathers mixed in...could he be mixed with something else?

yellow feathers can be caused by either the feed or to much sun and the green that you see comes on all black chickens happens when the sun hits them just right. it is possible to have cochin him due to the floppy comb and large amount of black

He has always had those yellow feathers. They are beautiful but I have always wondered where he came from! Haha.
