what breed are these ducklings?

But also! They have a little black on them? Is that pekin? I've heard pekins are solid yellow and muscovies can look like pekins with a dark tint to them like dirt.

I can't explain the black unless they are not pure Pekin, but I do know that they are not muscovy. I have raised alot of muscovys and I've never had any yellow like yours. I've had chocolates, black and white, silver and white, and blues. Maybe someone else will chip in an opinion but my experience tells me Pekin.

I've once had a Pekin (from TSC) who had a few flecks of black on his back as a duckling. As he grew, sure enough, they turned into black feathers, but were hidden by his wings when they were folded. Otherwise he looked like any other Pekin. He also was completely voiceless. He'd try make male duck noises like the other one, but it was like he was hoarse. That's him on the left, you can see his black spots.

Both of them older. That's him in the back.
