I bought these guys at a feed store as Golden Laced Wyandottes and i realized that the roo(?) at least is not. The other is still a mystery also. The roo is about 5 months old and the hen is 1-2 months younger.

roo - we thought he was a cochin but then we noticed the odd comb.

Hen- She doesnt really have a comb, there is 1 tiny 'spike' near the back of the comb area, thats all...very weird.

They ARE Gold Laced Wyandottes. What makes you think the roo was not?

Granted, they are hatchery stock, but still what they were supposed to be.

They are bantam size and have tiny little feet and I have SLWs that are the same age and twice the size of those two.

Gold Lace Wyandottes, they don't "look perfect" at first, the "ugly ducklings" do turn into "beautiful swans" or at least the GLW chicks, pullets and cockerels will finally turn into beauties as they mature. You just need patience, something most people can't handle. Just enjoy and one day you'll be hit with the realization you've got some beauties and think back on how they grew up so suddenly.

Gold Laced Wyandotte bantams

First one is a cockerel, the second one is a pullet.
