What breed are we? (Updated PICS - 10/10/07)

[Cuban Longtails]

I picked these two chicks up at the local farm and ranch store along with three that are supposed to be Ameracaunas. Anyone have an idea of what breed they might be? They were mixed in with the straight runs, so they should be a standard of some kind.

Looks like Rhode Island Red and Buff Orpington. For comparison, my RIRs as babies and Buff Orps.

I would love to have a RIR and a BO, I don't have either of their breed. Hopefully that's what these two turn out to be!

I know it's a bit difficult to tell when they're chicks. I believe the Farm and Ranch store that I bought them from gets their chicks from Ideal. They are about a week old (bought them last Friday).

Yup, definitely RIR and BO. At 3 wks, they are still looking like girls, but it may be too early to say for sure yet. Very cute!
