What breed do I have here?

He's missing his tail feathers here... I don't know if that would keep someone from telling what breed he is or not. Before they were pecked out by the other birds he had long sweeping jet black tail feathers.

Brown Leghorn is my guess. He's pretty (even with no tail... imagination is a big help..
