What breed do I have?

We got our first chicks a few weeks ago from a school incubation project. I was told these were probably golden comets, but I'm starting to doubt that. Here are pictures, one at 2 weeks and one now are 4 weeks. Both are super sweet. Also please tell me they're pullets!

Not buff Orps - they have yellow skin.

They are likely mixed breeds.

Very interesting. With mixed breeds will I need to wait even longer to see if I've got girls or boys?

Not at all! Post pics showing their combs at around 6 weeks. By then we should know.

Agreed. They look like mixes to me, possibly with some kind of Red Sex Link in them.

The second photo in the first post looks like a pullet, but we need more photos of the other one.

Yes, good idea. Too early right now to know for sure but she is looking like a pullet for now.
