What breed do I have?

That large and slow to lay could be white jersey giants. Giants take forever to mature. My rocks laid at 20 weeks like clockwork.

Not Giants. They have greyish legs, mine are yellow. Does a white EE get this big?

If you think about EE ,this means shape of comb is botering you.What comb do they have.Single-Rock,Pea -Cornish(EE have mostly green legs) Rose comb-Wyandote

Ok. I researched as many hatcheries and websites that I could find that had true photos not illustrations and I'm 98 percent sure they are white rocks. Even though their ears are white they are way to large to be leghorns. I'll try to get some pics. In doing this research I never knew that there were so many breeds. Some are truely stunning.

Hooray! We got our first brown egg last Friday. Skipped Saturday. One egg a day so far. We thought we had a roo because the comb and waddles were so much larger than the other girls. Turns out he is a she because we took turns watching the coop and waited until she came out. All of the hens are now squatting when you pet them. I assume the other four will start laying soon. My son and I ate the eggs this am and they were delicious.
