What breed is he?

I think my cockerel is either a RIR or a copper Maran?

I have no matching hens but would like to get some!

Please can you identify him

I don't think he's either. RIR would be a darker and more uniform color. Also would have yellow shanks.
Too much color for a copper Marans. They'd have a black breast too.
I'm thinking maybe some kind of mix just because of the bit of white in his lobes.

Ohhh I hadn't thought of that he couldn't be either!
What is the white on his lobes? Some of my leghorn hens have this too!

Idk maybe a leghorn mix or welsummer? (I’m definitely the opposite of an expert so I’m guessing.)
