What breed is my chick & About how many weeks his he??

I was just curious on how old this baby chick is. I took him in when he was running around my house and the mother was nowhere to be found about a week or 2 ago... I wanna learn more about raising chicks since they are all around my house and sometimes the babies get separated from the group.

I'm guessing two to three weeks old in this picture, but it could be a few weeks older than that--different chicks get feathers at different rates.

I have this one I sent to my friend who was like a daughter to me... hes the lighter one in the front

The one over the word "two"? I think that chick is less than three days old at the time you took the picture. So if you look at the date you took that picture, and figure the chick was three days old or less, you'll be able to know pretty precisely how old the chick is at any time. (What day was the picture taken?)

Yes the one over the word "two" the day I've taken the picture was the 19th and I believe I found him/ I took him in on the 18th after I got home from my parent's house.

So the chick is probably between 3 and 4 weeks old at the present time.
