What breed is she?

Hi! Does anyone know what type of breed she is? She was supposed to be an Australorp and that’s obviously not right. Not sure if she is some type of maran or a black sex link. Her eggs are the two dark ones. Feet are not feathered and are yellow and grey.

I am not an expert with feathered legs but Black Sex Links do not have feathered legs but the rest of it looks like one. I would say a BYM (Barnyard Mix)

your chicken looks almost identical to my chicken! her name is curry, rescued her from slaughter so i don't know her breed. (btw these photos were from like 2-3 weeks ago, her feathers are more grown out and nicer looking. she was regrowing molted feathers.)

I would guess she is a Black Copper Marans. The British bred French Black Copper Marans to have clean legs, so she would be an English BCM. Her eggs are dark enough that that is my guess. Very pretty!

Jener8or is right, the English standard for marans calls for clean legs. With eggs that dark my first guess would be black copper marans.
