What breed is this and is it a roo or a hen?

I was sold two hens that were advertised as olive Eggers. I think I've been duped. What kind of chicken is this and is it a hen or a rooster? It should be close to laying. I also have not noticed crowing, tidbitting, or any attempting to mate.

How old? It is a cockerel at least. And does look like an olive egger, with those lightly feathered shanks.

Should be 5 months or so. Like I said I have not noticed any wing dancing, crowing, tidbitting, or attempts to breed.

Definitely a cockerel. The coloring is all cockerel, and so is the feathering.

I figured he was too flashy to be a hen. The other one I purchased with him is a solid black hen. Shes got a small pink pea comb.

I think it’s a pullet, but that just my gut feeling. I also believe it’s an F2 Olive Egger.

Looks like an OE. Maybe a very slow maturing cockerel? I see what appears to be pointy saddle feathers but not really lol. And I see what looks to be red shoulders.

It definitely doesn't look like what a 5 month old cockerel or pullet should look like.

Yep, looks that way to me too. The first egg will tell the tale, or the first crow!

I'm kinda leaning more towards a Pullet with some kind of hormone issues or something
