I know you are asking her but I am seeing dark down the leg and yellow on the toes, similar to a female Barred rock or Dominique, What are you seeing Mrs. Heather?

With rose combs, I'd suspect Blue Wyandottes. However, I think they have fully yellow legs as adults, so perhaps as chicks they have some slate areas that turn yellow.
