I got it from TSC in Okla out of mix bin. Don't know hatchery source.

Makes me think Runner

Thinks so? I have a darker one I'm pretty positive is a Runner as it stands completely upright.

I got 4 from the bin and I was googling as fast as I could to make good guesses at what I was picking out. I know I got a black swedish. I've got one feathering in brown that I think is a KC.

Not all Runners stand so erect, I still think this one is a Runner just looks like one to me, sure is pretty.

Not doubting you at all. I see the slender face resemblance. I believe this one had a white chest when I first got it so I was thinking it was a blue swedish but the white has disappeared.

I think just looking at it's body shape and face and especially bill shape it just looks like a Runner, but hey what do I know. lol I know you weren't doubting me so to speak, they can sure make you wonder at times.

I agree with Miss Lydia. :) The shape of the bill and face really make me think runner even if it doesn't stand completely upright. I haven't owned runners myself so I don't know if that's normal or not but I still think its a runner. Perhaps maybe a chocolate runner. Sure is a cutie! :love

Runner it is then. They are doing awesome outside. My flock and adult ducks are interacting with them perfectly. The only ones to harass them a little is one of my call duck hens.
