What breed is this little one?

When I ordered my chicks from Meyer, I selected one each of their "assorted brown egg layers" and "assorted rare". I received one brown chick and one yellowish/reddish chick. I am fairly certain the brownish one is a Partridge Rock (attaching a pic below) but the yellow-y one has me stumped!! She is certainly a dark yellow, with some red, and these little strips on her back. Her feathers at the bottom of her wing are very light and the ones at her "shoulder" are coming in a bit darker. Anyone have any guesses?? She is 2.5 weeks now. Thanks!!!!

They look sorta like EE's to me but I'm not sure? You ordered them from the assorted rare breeds? What's the little black and white one? An Austrolap?

Oooh an EE would be fun! The tough part about guessing is that Partridge Rock is a possibility for both rare breed and brown egg layer assortment, so figuring the brown one out doesn't rule either out! Not sure if this yellow one is rare or a brown egg layer, if that makes any sense.

Yes, the little black and white one under the ecoglow is an Australorp, I have 2 :)

I mis-read you question when I first looked at the photos and reversed the two chicks and was thinking that the light yellow one was awfully light for a Partridge Rock

Anyway I started down the path with a clean slate and my gut was the one you think is a brown layer (PR) may be from the rare list--a Barnvelder and the yellow one from their brown egg layer is a golden sex-link of some kind.

eta--I just looked it up and they do see Barnvelders and a sex-link called a Golden Buff. What do you think?
They also sell a Buff Chantecler. What type of comb does the little yellow one have. They say a small comb and I think it may be a cushion but I've never had that breed so I don't know for sure ( I also can't tell from the photo if the chicks match). Knowing what type of comb can really help narrow down the breed choices.
Oh, and i love the photo with your little Australorp peeking out from under the warmer. What little cuties! And before I forget:

Dretd - thanks!! I had Golden Buff on my list of guesses. I thought that or New Hampshire Red, but she is looking so light!

The brown one - interesting!! I had crossed Barnvelder off the guess list because they have none available now, but that would be pretty cool! I need to search more pics, Meyers are so small but the feather pattern does look similar!

Thanks re: austrolorps, I love them! I have 2 of them, 2 BRs, these 2 mystery chicks and a mystery polish (golden laced I'm sure). They have been very fun but I admit to being ready
For them to move outside :)

It sounds like you are going to have a really wonderful mixed flock!

I wouldn't cross any of the chicks off the list just because they say they are unavailable. They may have pre-sold them up to their estimated number, but they don't know exactly how many chicks will hatch from each batch so they may have a few left over they didn't pre-sell because they had a good hatch and didn't lose as many as expected. Or I could be wrong and its a different breed entirely (never had barnvelders so I am just going off photos)!
