I am new to chickens and am so super excited about them. My girls and I have been awaiting them for three months now. We ordered from a hatchery and received them today. While I am still trying to determine which chick is which breed, there is one that is completely alone. I think it may be a light brahma. It is yellow, without markings, solid yellow beak and yellow fuzz down its anterior and lateral legs. It is the cutest little fluff ball. I also have 4 other yellow chicks with dark markings on their head only. Their legs are bright yellow. I am unsure of their breed also. I ordered dominickers (Dominique), silver laced Wyandotte, rhode island reds, black australorps and barred rocks. They are all so precious. I have been sitting and watching them all day. I can't seem to pull myself away from them.
