What breed is this rooster?

Hey guys! We’re getting this rooster and we love his colouring but was wondering if you guys could help us on giving ideas as to what breed he may be? Mixed? He’s 6 months old. Would he pass down his colouring do you think?

Oh he's gorgeous! I think that color is Red Pyle but I'm not sure on his breed. Is he large or bantam?

Mixed breed. He could be a red sex link cross.

Would he pass down his colouring so you think?

Yes, he might. But the mothers will have an equal effect on which genes the chicks get, so they might grow up to look like one parent or the other, or a mixture, or not like either parent at all. (Sometimes genes combine in unexpected ways!)
