I have opal legbars and this rooster and I’m interested what breed the rooster is for breeding reasons!

Thank you for the reply! He was given to us by our neighbor who gave us a game hen of some kind also. So you’re probably right!

1. Offspring of Marans BCM, I suppose that is a Birchen Marans(?), but his yellow shanks... I don't know.
2. Offspring of Barnevelder... His comb is very rare.
They're both born/hatched eggs buyed from Turky to Colombia.

It's usually better to have your own thread.

But if the parents were not the same breed then these roosters are mixed-breed birds and not part of any specific breed.

That doesn't mean that they're not nice birds who could suit your flock very well.
