Just googled, not mosaics. LOL. I think I was thinking about aloha chickens? Which are a new, but unrecognized breed. Except, I don't think they have crests. Your cockerel may be, simply, a barnyard mix.

I have no idea! We were given 2 leg bars and this mystery chick it’s got a larger, rounder head than the others.
And I couldn’t help but notice you said “he.” We are new to chicken raising- do you think it’s a boy!?

We are thinking “barnyard mix” is an accurate ID .. and you’re saying “it’s a boy!”? We are rookie chicken owners and were given these young “hens” lol

It was given to us as a “mystery chick” with two other Legbars, so that is likely. We were, however, told it was female. ‍ Rookie chicken owner here.

How old? I'm thinking its very likely that this is a cockerel, depending on the age.
