We recently picked up chicks from a local Hatchery. This Chick was supposed to be a Tetra Brown. It’s pretty obvious that they gave us the wrong breed. I emailed the hatchery a pic and they came back with “Rainbow Dixie”, which of course could look like anything! I did read about that breed and apparently they grow very fast...our lady is one of the smallest in the brooder, which makes me think it’s NOT a RD. Any thoughts or guesses? It’s 3.5 weeks old. It’s our first leap into backyard chickens, so I don’t know much about all the breeds! As long as it’s a girl, we’ll be fine! Just curious!
