Got some chicks for my single hatchling. Lady at the store said they were "easter eggers" but I am thinking otherwise as they are all the same color (not uncommon but unusual for a store) and they also had no cheek puffs (not too unusual) but nonetheless, I wanted to check with other people. I was thinking welsummer but even I could be wrong about this. Thanks for any help!

Honestly, at this age, there are so many breeds that look like this. I believe Welsummers would have more distinct chipmunk stripes, though I could be wrong.

The chick in the picture does have stripes, nkt very distinct but the other two are more distinct.

All three chicks have yellow/orange feet/legs.
Welsummer or brown Leghorn are possibilities, then. They could also be Welsummer type olive eggers. But I don't think anyone will be able to tell for sure until they've grown.

Thanks! I guess we have to play the waiting game but that's fine. I will love them no matter what they are.
