Hello all knowing chicken peeps I just got this chicken and I am just wondering if anyone can tell what it might be and please tell me it is a she those tail feathers make me nervous lol but it is a year old????

It looks like a female to me.

Is she laying eggs? If so, what color are the eggs? That can help figure out the breed.

I just got two of these black chickens yesterday and got a very light green egg today but I dont know who layed it this is the other black one I got

Neither are Australorps. You have a Marans and an Easter Egger-both hens
