Just got 8 babies today. Happy that all of them survived shipping and seem to be doing great so far. I ordered 4 silkies and 4 easter eggers, but one of them doesn't look like an easter egger (the 4 silkies are very obviously silkies). Can anyone tell me what breed this might be? The one in the background is an easter egger (as far as I know), but this little yellow one is just a rogue little chick and I have no clue what she'll turn out to be!

Is this also an Easter Egger?

Ok great. I was surprised to have one rogue little yellow one in with some silkies and then the brown ones.

It could be an EE, but the legs look yellow to me. Does it have the puffy face like the EEs?

Easter Eggers are a basket of surprises. Because they aren't a purebred chicken, they can be any mix of colors and features. Lots of fun to get and watch grow up

Yes, I know, but every hatchery bred EE I've ever seen had green legs. I'm just saying it may be something else.

Sometimes the legs will darken with maturity. One of my EEs looked exactly like a leghorn as a pullet and ended up looking like this
