What breed lays JUMBO, LARGE, MEDIUM, and Small eggs?

What breeds lays these size eggs?
I am raising RIR and it seems that they are laying medium eggs. What breeds lay the others on my list?

how old are your gals?...my RIR are now laying large eggs but they have been laying for a few weeks

I got the on march 21st. They are about 5 1/2 months old. I compared them to the large white eggs that you buy from the grocery store.

I now have wyndottes laying and am getting large brown eggs. They started off not to impressive at first but are gradually getting bigger. I also have 15 buff orpington hens that should start laying in a couple weeks. I am hoping to get larger eggs from them. Some breeds of chickens lay smaller eggs and some lay larger. Also individual birds varying in laying as well. You may find a hen who lays a larger than average egg consistantly but then you may get one that lays a smaller egg than normal.

Eggs start out small when a pullet is first laying. As she ages and matures the eggs get larger and in general reach a more standard size. You will one occassion find a larger egg, maybe a double yolker, ir the egg factory will send a small one down the shoot but most often the eggs will be about the same consistant size from each mature hen.

My only laying hen at this time is a welsummer and she is laying nice dark brown large eggs

it depends on how old they are i think. When they first start laying, i think the eggs will be a little small, but they will get bigger in time! the red star hens we used to have laid medium/large and sometimes even X-large brown eggs.
Red stars seem to lay medium/large eggs often, but they sometimes lay small ones. One time our adult red star hen laid an egg the size of a robin's egg!

It was really weird! LOL
