Can anyone tell me what breed of chicken lays this color egg? I know probably a sexlink but which one? Black? I don't have any that lay this dark of a egg and I want to add some to my egg basket.

They are probably some version of sex links because they are very productive. Most store eggs are either sex links or leghorns I believe.

My hylines both lay eggs that dark, though they may look lighter in the photo than they actually are...
