What breed might my black pullet be?

This is Big Jeff. A friend got her for Easter at a feed store in a very mixed bag. She's 10 weeks old (at least, I'm fairly sure she's a pullet--her comb's always been redder than the others' but not bigger), and she's got me completely stumped on what breed she is. She's got some green sheen to her feathers in the light, as you can see in the bottom picture, but I can rule out Australorp or similar breeds not only because of the tannish feathers that are showing increasingly around her neck, but because as a chick, she was entirely black/soot colored. There wasn't a speck of yellow on her--not her head or underbelly.

She's a good flier and is the only one of my five who seems to use their roost on a regular basis--she loves being up in the air.




I'm sorry for the blurry pictures, haha. She has a single comb.

What do you think? Does anyone have any idea what breed she might be?

Black sex link. I have 2. One has the typical pattern of all black with the patterning of gold around the neck. The other one is very shiny black, with the green tint to her feathers, & just a few flecks of gold on her chest. She's very pretty, like your hen.
