I can't see the comb very well, but if it's a single comb and you're in the USA it's most likely a Jersey Giant -- because they're the most common yellow-skinned, single-combed black breed in the US.

No, this is a picture that was sent to me. I am going to possibly buy this rooster. I cannot figure out which black chickens have yellow legs.

I do not think he is a JG. They are first of all, large birds and have a large built. Secondly, they are supposed to have black shanks and yellow skin. He also doesn't look like he has a single comb from what can be seen in the photo.

And he doesn't look fully black to me (but this may have to do with the photo quality). Better pictures are needed.

I was wondering what if he was just a REALLY rich mahagony. Looks like a pea comb. Maybe a Buckeye who's picture was taken in semi-darkness??

Either way, better photos are needed.
