Do you have a better picture?Do you know what kind of rooster this is that is all black with yellow legs?
No, this is a picture that was sent to me. I am going to possibly buy this rooster. I cannot figure out which black chickens have yellow legs.Do you have a better picture?
Thank you! I'm hoping for a Jersey Giant.I can't see the comb very well, but if it's a single comb and you're in the USA it's most likely a Jersey Giant -- because they're the most common yellow-skinned, single-combed black breed in the US.
I do not think he is a JG. They are first of all, large birds and have a large built. Secondly, they are supposed to have black shanks and yellow skin. He also doesn't look like he has a single comb from what can be seen in the photo.Thank you! I'm hoping for a Jersey Giant.
I was wondering what if he was just a REALLY rich mahagony. Looks like a pea comb. Maybe a Buckeye who's picture was taken in semi-darkness??Looks like a mixed breed.
Oh that could be! Picture really is awfulI was wondering what if he was just a REALLY rich mahagony. Looks like a pea comb. Maybe a Buckeye who's picture was taken in semi-darkness??
Either way, better photos are needed.
Also, I LOVE your new profile picture!
