Had a neighbor give me these geese because his neighbor was poisoning them for being in their lake smh. He didn't know their breed, can anyone be able to tell me? and which ones may be male or female
Toulouse cross with an African, orange beak with a knob like an African, would be my first thought. Stripe on the neck, like an African, but ruffled feathers on the neck, like Toulouse.
Male or female is difficult, male is bigger, looks like he is protecting the smaller one, maybe a pair. Geese are not easy to tell without watching them interact. Or, vent sexing, if you know them well enough!
To vent sex, you have to hold him upside-down, press your fingers on either side of the vent and sort of press down and squeeze. It helps to know the bird well and be friends first! Some geese will mate more than one female, but the ones I had would not. Just keep the biggest pair. Extra males are nice at Christmas!
