What breed of pullets are these?

Oh wow! I think that is maybe what she told me. If so this is exciting! Being my last name is Kellogg! I hope I have two hens! Really do not need a rooster, they are too noisy where I live!

Hmm not sure they are pullets. Pullets generally have longer eyeliner (mine had it all the way back to the ears) and a clear 'V' on the head. The chick on the left has quite a smudgey V and the other one seems to have a clear V but short eyeliner. This is only 90% accurate though, so you could be in luck! I think you can watch out for black feathers coming out on their chest when they're about 5-6 weeks old I think. My pullets have a nice salmon colour on their chest and no black. Goodluck though! They are such cute chicks and pretty hens!

From the second batch of photos I would guess that the first one with the clear V on top of the head and the longer eyeliner than the other is a pullet and the second chick with the blurry V and no eyeliner it seems is a cockerel! But there are exceptions, but anyway, 1 from two is better than 0 from 2! If they were sold to you as pullets, you could possibly try say that you think the second one is a cockerel and swap it for one that looks more like the first one!

Thank you! This is what I am also thinking now. I am thinking about getting two more chics from somewhere, maybe not the same kind, and possibly two that are a year old already. Not sure yet though, but I will be getting two more. I don't think I can get away with having any more than 5.

I think a mix of breeds is fun! Chicks are so addictive! I said I'd have 3, then I decided I wanted 4 breeds and got them unsexed so I got two of each in hopes I'd get at least 4 hens, I think I've got two roo's, but will probably keep all six hens (if they are indeed hens) and am tempted to keep all 8 but know that I can't! If you do get more chicks, try pulling out their wings and picking the ones with the longest wing feathers in an attempt to pick the girls!
