In your experience would a mini lop, rex or other breed be the best choice for a calm rabbit? What other breed?

My lop was very, very docile! I could do just about anything with him. He had medical issues and was so tolerant for all his treatments. I'm sorry I don't have any experience with rexes.

Every breed has its bad ones and its good ones don't expect to get something that people are saying are docile to turn out docile it could be a mean rabbit that wants to do nothing with you.

Considering I was just bitten by my roommate's Mini Rex last night, I'm not inclined to say them. Honestly I find the dwarf breeds to be too nippy for my liking. For a child you want a slightly larger, docile rabbit. My personal recommendation is the Mini Lop. Most Himalayans are also VERY good about being handled.

Another vote for lops. I LOVE rex, I used to breed the minis, but they are more active then the lops.

I'm getting Lionheads for my kids, but I really do not know anything about them. So, I am hoping they are not mean.
