What breed of turkeys are these? and how do I get them to come back?

I had 5 or 6 of these show up about 30-45 minutes ago and my dog promptly wanted to investigate. He went over to see them which caused them to run which made him chase

I chased him down and got him but those turkey where flying every where and gone quickly. What breed do you think they are? Is there anyway I can get them to come back? I would love to just have them around. Will it stick with them that they where chased on my property and there is no way to get them to come back.

Eastern wild probably. Put out some cracked corn and they WILL be back. Oh and put the dog up. Not only will the turkeys not come around with the dog near if the dog spooks a gobbler the gobbler very well may attack him. The spurs on him could injure the dog very badly

i've always found wild turkeys to be incredibly habitual, one spring/summer/fall we had a group that walked through our backyard in the exact same direction at exactly 7:15 in the morning, and then go back the other way at 5:15, they stopped right before the season opened... come breeding season chain up your dog for HIS safety, the toms get wikid titchy, i've talked to hunters who got sheepishly treed after practicing a turkey call prior to the season and a tom showed up and wasn't pleased when he found no hen but rather a person in camo...
