What breed should I get?

I wanted a new addition to my flock of eight, so I am wondering what breed. I have EE's and RIR's. I've had my eye on the buff orps for awhile. What do you think?

So many good choices out there! Speckled Sussex, Buff Orps, and Black Australorps are all friendly, docile birds. But so are Delawares and Rocks, and...and...and...and... Like I said, it's hard to go wrong!

Cochineal are super sweet and docile in my experiance. Get Cochin bantamz.

I like red sex links most.... they are greattttttt layers and very calm and sweet and tender as well as they consume less food.... for a new and fun addition to a flock I would recommend those smalll bantams... I don't know the breed name though. .. they are soooo fun to watch and their eggs are sooo cute...... and they make the flock soo enegetic and fun!!!

Buff Orpingtons are a good choice. We have two Buff Orpingtons (out of our ten chickens). -very sweet birds, lay well, and get along just fine in the flock. These are my daughter's favorites.
