What breed will be perfect for my flock?

We are currently just looking at a bunch of different breeds and later we want to expand our flock...or group(4 birds). We LOVE our black stars! And want to either stick with them or get chickens that are as lovey as they are. We want a breed that is very hardy and calm and don’t mind being picked up and handled.

I can't recommend Orpingtons enough, they come in a variety of colors/patterns and their personality is SO good. I like them so much I got one for my flock and ended up getting four more. Here's a few of mine.
