I purchased 3 baby day old chickens from a market stall, they were all the same size and were told they were Sussex crosses. Well...1 has turned out to be a naked neck gold laced Seabright (I'm guessing), a frizzle Seabright (I'm guessing) and the other 2 I am unsure. The Orange and 2 Seabrights are around the same size but the other 1 is a giant and huge in comparison. The giant chicken is called Grettle, Grettle was all bluey grey colour and now coming out in buff and black with the grey, she also never developed a tail, neither has the Orange one. I suspect the Orange one is a roo?? But think the other 3 are hens?? They are about 3-4months old now. Any help in suggestions what they are would be greatly appreciated. I love my little flock just curious what they are.
