I was thinking that too, but he appears small. Maybe it's just the angle? And I didn't think Onyx usually had feathered feet.

They can. They use silkie, so feathered legs and crests are possible. Just not common like like extra toes are (ask me how I know).

They say they're lighter birds, but I don't think so. All of mine have been quite large for pullets and hens
