Hi!
We picked up this beauty from Tractor Supply labeled as a Speckled Sussex. She looked like one as a chick but now at almost 5 months old it appears she clearly is not although she is a very pretty girl. What does everyone think she is?? Bright yellow legs, very flighty (I call her my little spaz. 😂). She is also very fast and agile. Can jump right up to the top of a 6 foot fence. Looks like a roadrunner when she runs. :) Pictures attached at Day 1 and now. Thank you!!

Shes may be a Crested Cream Legbar mix. She may lay green eggs. Here are my pure bred CCLB for comparison. There is barring in my girls feathering but lacking in yours. This is only a guess so take it with a grain of salt. Edited**** I never saw a brown leghorn, so they nailed it!

Do you think this is a CCLB mix? Daddy was a RIR I've been calling her an olive egger.

Brown leghorn. One of mine started laying couple weeks ago and has been laying almost daily since. She's less "spazzy" now that she's laying. (sorry this is not a good pic)

She has a crest. How cute. Yes, if the daddy is a RIR she is a mix with a Crested mom. Do you have a Crested hen in your flock?
No she's my only 1 and she came from my aunts pullets. She also only has 1 crested hen (mama) but she's a greyish brown reminds me of a small turkey!
