What breeds are these two?

I have two Mallards and two from an assorted hatchery choice mix. Is the mottled white and black a Magpie? What about my solid black with white chest?

They both are crested ducks, or at least one of their parents was. They appear too slim to be standart crested ducks, though. Magpies have a different colour pattern with more white.

Note that crested ducks can have neural issues, but this depends on the size of the crest.

I'm familiar with crested ducks but that doesn't fully explain their base breed. They'll be 6 weeks old May 5th, which might explain the slimness. They're definitely heftier then the Mallards, which are 5 weeks.

Looks like the second pic maybe a blk swedish, other one could be too just isn't marked as well don't think it's magpie.

I am not sure - they might be a cross between several breeds, I guess they spring from a lighter type, like campbells. Sometimes it's just hard to tell.

I'm with Miss Lydia - a maybe crested swedish that isn't great for coloring (but doesn't mean it isn't cute!) and a crested black swedish

Thanks everyone! If it helps any, the mottled black and white has white stripes on the webbing of the feet and the possible Black Swedish has completely black feet and legs. They're also both from Ideal.
