What breeds?

Wondering what our rooster is (we bought him at an auction).

Also “rescued” a few chicks from the clearance bin at Tractor Supply awhile back and am curious what they are too.
*i know in the last pics there’s a silkie but I don’t know what the other 2 are.

The rooster looks a lot like the rare breed “Ayam Cemani”
That is so lucky you have one! I mean our neighbor has two Ayam Cemani and one’s a jumper and jumps over the fence and hangs out w/ our girls....
I also see a lot of bantams yet I still am bad at knowing breeds off the top of my head, although when I see an Ayam Cemani, it’s real Obvious

Aren’t the “Ayana Cermani” completely black? His comb is like a dark burgundy.
He’s a wonderful rooster regardless of what kind, I’m just curious.

Pretty birds!

The 2nd and 3rd picture appear to be Mille fleur and porcelain booted bantams


In the 2 last pictures I see on the left a buff silkie (bantam?)
and a white frizzle
otherwise I don’t know the other breeds but I bet someone could help you

Comb isn't quite right for Ayam Cemani, but isn't quite right for an Australorpe either. The former supposed to be solid black and the latter should be a bright red comb. Someone will probably ask what color the bottom of his feet are, as it will help them narrow down some choices.

I had originally thought australorpe and that seems to fit his personality but was thrown off by the comb color as well. The pics online show a very bright red comb. His is quite dark as you can sort of see from the picture. The bottom of his feet are black like his legs. In the sun he has greenish streaks as well.

Mixed breed for sure. Probably both of the suspects mentioned. That dark purple comb... too purple, in my opinion to be respiratory or heart problems... so I'm gonna say mixed. The green shimmer in the sun is a classic australorp 'tell', but then the 'black' comb narrows it to a handful of breeds and with black-bottomed feet too... We need an expert o'er here to figure this out! LOL!
