What Brees Are My Chicks?

I got some chicks today and you can say that their feathering kinda looks like a beige/blue. They are 3 weeks of age. Their legs have the strangest tint of Slate. I would get picks but i can't at the moment.
All help is welcome.

Are they bantam or standard?

Standard size. I can't get pick but their legs are like a slate green color for some reason. Could this also be a sickness that the chicks have? or is it just part of the breed?

Do they kinda look like this one? shes an EE tan and light blue. shes also alot older shes about 10 weeks and you cant see them but she has mint green legs

you got yourself an EE! their legs are like that, their eggs are cool! Tints of green, blue, pink, etc

Also I want to ask another question, Im trying to open a hatchery and what breeds should i get? i currently have RIR's and BO's to start of and now i have the EE's. What other great breeds should i get?

Well. remember that some folks want birds for eggs, some for meat, some for dual purpose.

And some folks like bantams, for the amount of space they require or for their decdorative/ pet qualities.

Check out the hatchery websites...you'll see what they sell.

Also, what do the local feed store sell on their "chick days"??? Might give you some hints for what you could sell locally.

You might be able to supply those feed stores if you have enough of the chicks they sell.

And, of course, there are the Chickenstocks advertized on this sites forum, which might be a place you could sell chicks!

I know for eggs i have RIR's and Bo's so far. and dual purpose i have the BO's. i want to get some wyandottes soon though. I was thinking about getting some Delawares so i could breed my own meat birds. For bantams so far i have White Silkies. I have a friend that is going to have a hatch and has a chance of getting black,white,blue, or cuckoo silkies. Its cause there was 3 different colored roo's with her. im crossing my fingers in hoping that she will get a bearded cuckoo silkie!

and some blacks. I also have ducks! so far i have Cayugas and Pekins! can't wait till i could get some Blue Swedes! and Mallards!

It is weird. Where i live our pet stores don't sell chicks, ducklings, keets, and ect.
But there is alot of people here who look for the breeds i have so far so im hoping to do good this spring. I have made my decision and im opening up in Spring. Mostly cause during winter i want to build more coops and ect. and plus alot of people buy their chicks in spring.Im also hoping to sell started chickens like 10 weeks olds and 17 week olds.

Please post your advice! this is my first time doing something like this so all help is welcome!
