What Brred am I?

I was trying out my incubator with a couple of fertile eggs I received. He looks like a Black Copper Marans...but not sure if he is only a BCM or a barnyard mix. Any ideas? He is also much smaller than hens his age...5mos.

If I were to guess I would say he is a French Black Copper Marans and Crested Cream Legbar mix. So technically probably an Olive Egger, and a really gorgeous one!

I'm thinking by his look he might be a second generation olive egger. Where they made Olive Eggers and then bred back to the FBCM's rooster to get a darker olive egg. Do you know what color egg he hatched from? Someone will come by with more experience than me though!

It was a cream/tan color...not the dark color of a FBCM nor was it blue.

My vote is Silkie or Polish in the mix, based on egg color and his awesome little hat. But not a 50/50 mix, more like 25% crested in your bird
