I have 14 chickens and 1 rooster, and my girls have laid almost an egg a day for about 6 months now. Earlier in the week I moved 4 chickens and a rooster to another piece of propety and now the chickens at my house have laid 3 very soft shelled, pale eggs, with some bumps. They are running around, seem happy, eating and drinking well and have ready access to oyster shell and clean water. I have a feral chicken with chickens who has started to come into the run with my girls, and they free range all day and hang out in the run, until roosting time at night. Could the soft eggs be stress? All help is appreciated!

stress is a likely cause, although stress often makes them stop laying for a while and can even make them start a moult like process. if they have plenty of grit and protein etc etc then they should be fine :) just give them time to settle in
