What can I do about my Polish chickens head feathers?

We have a 7 week-old Polish chick that can see just fine right now but I've seen our friends' Polish and the poor thing can't see anything untill it's right next to her. So I was wondering what I can do to keep our Polish's head feathers out of her eyes so she can see.

We had buff laced polish and would have to pluck the feathers from around their eyes so they could see. You can also trim them but be careful of blood feathers.

Where you able to get the feathers out of your chickens eyes. Mine freaks out when I head towards the eyes with scissors. Hoping for another solution.

No, he turned out to be a rooster so we couldn't keep him.
