What can I do to keep my ducks entertained this winter?

Since they won't have a pool during the winter (I live in Wisconsin ) I feel like they're going to be super bored. What can I do to entertain them?

They have eachother to watch and will be snuggling up close to keep warm. I've never met a bored duck with friends. I have seen depressed ducks on their own. I dont think your ducks will need entertaining.

Agreed if it’s too cold to go out they will be focused on conserving energy and huddling up together. If it’s warm enough for them to be active they will be plenty entertained together outside.

I would give mine a bucket around noon to break up the day and let them bob for peas.

On nice days when it wasn’t snowing I’d let them out while I did chores.

I am in WI also and have thought about it too. I have taken their pool away in the hut and soon the 2 kiddie pools in the yard will be removed.

I will probably sprinkle meal worms around the fenced area for them to forage (inhale), peas in a tub...but when we get the -30 deg with 50 mph winds they will have to huddle in the hut and wait it out. Maybe I will sit with them for a while here and there. Hang a few parrot toys from the sides.

Like other said I think they huddle and conserve energy during those times to stay warm.
