What can I make from this?!?!

I’m able to get this deck for free....any ideas on coop design with these materials? I don’t mind spending a little more but with lumbar being so high right now I think the only way I can talk the husband into another coop is by using mostly this lumbar!
Please post some ideas for me!!

I suppose you could enclose the bottom as run space, and use the deck as the floor of the coop. You could put up some framing and build on walls and a roof.

I would make a coop out of the top and fence in the bottom as the chicken run or part of the run. Be sure to read a few threads on how to vent a coop correctly if you do not already know. If I had that I sure would make a coop/run out of it or use it for other small livestock like rabbits.

I have a very handy husband we have an 8x8 she’s turned into a coop now and a huge run I’m planning on building another coop at the other end of the run out of this.

We have rabbits in a hutch...our run is now double what you see in the picture

Why do you need another coop? More space? fair warning, they may all cram into one. since it is already raised the space underneath would be a great addition to run space. You would need walls and a roof to start.

The pictures aren't working for me. From what I've heard bunnies will do better with more space than is in a hutch. Have you considered moving them to a playpen or something inside?

That can easily be converted to a coop. It's basically framed out as an elevated coop. Add a roof, plywood or hardware cloth sides, 2 nesting boxes, a ramp and a run add some hens and you're in business.
